Plastinum Polymer Technologies

R & D

Today, Plastinum is working together with several chemical companies to develop the plastics of the future by exploiting the unique capabilities of BLENDYMER™ TECHNOLOGY. Plastinum runs its own R&D division in its pilot plant in the Netherlands and has a research agreement with the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and a number of other partners.

Our R&D activities currently focus on the following:

• Identification of new plastic waste streams: our company identifies and exploits other high-potential waste streams.

• Creation of new co-polymers: we are collaborating with leading chemical and manufacturing corporations in the development of a research programme designed to create totally new plastic compounds using BLENDYMER™ TECHNOLOGY. These compounds will have specific and unique applications.
