January 16, 2009 - Plastinum awarded special grant from Dutch province for innovative project
THE NETHERLANDS, December 19, 2008 – THE NETHERLANDS, December 19, 2008 – Plastinum is one of 17 companies in the province of Drenthe to have successfully applied for a grant for an innovative project. There had been 60 applications. The grant is for the development of a heavy-duty transport pallet from hybrid blends of mixed plastic scrap. This involves a combination of hybrid co-polymers that can be used for injection moulding to produce a particularly durable plastic pallet suitable for heavy loads.
The grant has been made possible by the European Community, European Regional Development Fund and the Province of Drenthe, Innovative Action Programme Drenthe.
